Two new IPL participants, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, made a cracker at Wankhede Stadium on Monday but it was Gujarat’s Hardika Pandya who had the last laugh beating KL Rahul & Co by five wickets.
Lucknow got off to a flying start while defending 158 runs, dismissing Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar. However, Hardik steadied the innings to set up the run chase before the Super Giants made a swift comeback to put the Gujarat franchise on the backfoot.
Rahul Tewatia and David Miller threatened to take over the match, but Avesh Khan induced a loose shot at the batter. It was a dolly for KL Rahul, who juggled three times to complete the catch.
Meanwhile, Hardika Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic, who was standing in the stands, was disappointed with the dismissal and and came up with a Hilarious reaction, Video has gone viral on social media.
