Punjab Kings (PBKS) head coach Anil Kumble has confidence in their newly appointed captain Mayank Agarwal. Mayank was among the two retained players by Punjab ahead of the mega-auction.
Kumble, in an official release, said that he believes the appointment of Mayank for the leadership role will give the franchise a successful campaign in the upcoming IPL 2022.
“Mayank has been an integral part of the side since 2018 and of the leadership group for the last two years. The new squad we selected at the recently concluded auction has exciting young talent and outstanding experienced players,” Kumble said.
