Ajinkya Rahane recently crossed 4,000 runs in the Indian Premier League. He played for Kolkata Knight Riders against Punjab Kings, the right-handed batter reached the milestone in IPL 2022.
The veteran batter was not retained by DC ahead of the mega auction in Bengaluru, and the KKR bought him as they were looking for an opener after Gujarat Titans signed Shubman Gill.
However, Rahane managed just 12 runs off 12 balls against the Mayank Agarwal-led team before being dismissed by Kagiso Rabada.
