England wicket-keeper batter Jos Buttler wants to represent England across formats despite his failure in the ongoing Ashes 2021-22. His batting and wicket-keeping have been pretty ordinary, and cricket experts feel Buttler is not a Test material.

“It’s my goal to be a part of the team in all forms of the game. I have a family support and they have sacrificed a lot, which gives you motivation to carry on. I am in that place where I want to try to make it work,” he said.

Buttler, who has played 56 Tests, averages only 32.54 with two centuries. He spoke about the frustrations having lost the Ashes. However, Buttler wants avoid a series whitewash.

“We haven’t performed as a team or individually to compete with Australia. But you have to be in a good space in your head to perform well for the team. We don’t want to be a team to lose 5-0,” he said.
